Initiallly engaged by Argos to work on the Stores programme, we went on to be responsible for one of the main programmes for the group. This was the highly successful, innovative Quick Pay kisk system. In addition, we managed many other projects and worked with a key supplier to develop an innovative support and maintenance contract.

Argos QuickPay kiosk

Our involvement with the Argos QuickPay kiosk started with the initial kick off meeting. We ran the supplier selection, managed the development, ran the pilot and managed the roll out

The success of the project was recognised by winning the Retail Week Technology Award in 2001. As a result we were invited to make a presentation on the project at the Retail Interactive conference in 2002

Other Projects

Other highly successful projects were the

  • introduction of the Stores Intranet,
  • a new Shelf Edge ticket solution
  • implementation of the systems for the new warehouse at Kettering
  • development of the WEEE handling system
  • creating a highly innovative support contract with an external supplier
